At Newport Nursing, we believe that each patient in our care is unique, with individual needs. This philosophy is centered in our patient care and carried out with our Total Care approach. Total Care begins with an intense focus on the medical needs of each of our patients, and then continues to address their personal, social, and spiritual needs.

It is our goal to maximize the comfort and recovery potential of each of our patients and to provide the same level of comfort to family and friends. In addition to 24-hour skilled nursing care, we provide a comprehensive program of therapy services including: physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We are known for exceptional outcomes in regards to our intensive stroke and orthopedic rehabilitation due to our state-of-the-art programs, equipment and professional staff.

Our Activities Department offers a variety of therapeutic recreational programs that encourage social interaction, and uplifting experiences. These programs are designed to invigorate the body, mind and spirit.

Nutrition is another important part of the healing process. Our Dietary Department serves a variety of healthy food to accommodate therapeutic diets, food allergies and taste preferences. Meals are also enjoyed in our dining room where residents can interact with one another and meet up with family or friends.
